Walmart Christmas day hours: Are Walmart stores open Christmas day? (video)

Walmart Christmas day hours are popular, and it's not surprising. However, mid-south residents should note that Walmart stores are CLOSED on Christmas day. Yes, even the store on US-64 near Wolfchase, the store on Trinity, and the store on Winchester. None of these Walmart locations will be open.

So what is a person to do if they need to grab something on Christmas Day? Well, for one thing, Exxon on the Run locations are open. This means that you can at least get a tank of gas and a slurpee sometime on Christmas Day.

There are many rumors circulating that Walmart, Best Buy, Kmart, and Target are open. These are rumors, and all of these major retailers are closed on Christmas Day.

If you are hungry and don't feel like cooking, IHOP and corporate owned Perkins Restaurants are open. The Perkins in Germantown is closed - but the Perkins in Collierville and the restaurant on Sycamore View are both open.

Starbucks is also open on Christmas Day.

Have a very Merry Christmas. Stores such as Walmart will re-open on Saturday, December 26th.

Fake Ferraris in Italy

ROME (Reuters) – Italians are used to buying bogus Gucci bags or Rolex watches to look stylish but police found a new height of craftsmanship and cunning when they broke up a ring selling fake Ferrari cars for a fraction of the real price.

Police accused 15 people of building the blood red sports cars and selling them to car fanatics on a budget, most of whom knew they were buying a counterfeit classic.

Car body workers who police called “very able” cobbled together mostly fake parts and a few original components. They used body parts from other makes of automobiles, such as chassis, roofs, hoods, trunks and doors.

The body parts were modified to look like Ferrari classics such as the 328 Gtb, which went out of production in the late 1980s.

Some of the cars sold for about 20,000 euros, about a tenth of the going price for some versions.

Avril Lavigne and a mystery man spend time together on the beach of St. Barts in the French West Indies on Wednesday (December 23).

The 25-year-old Canadian rocker, who looked happy to be hanging out with her new guy, stayed close by his side and took pictures by the water.

Avril wore a “Shining Star” racerback tank from her Abbey Dawn line and accessorized with some cute black star bracelets.
